On the field doing bitework at 8 months

Lance,
I wanted to thank you for the time and effort you took to answer the many questions I had both before and after the
purchase of my dog. You took the time to answer my questions from ear care to diet which I greatly appreciate. While
searching for a pup, I gave you quite a list of traits that I was looking for and after 18 months you had a breeding that
suited my wishes. I was a little apprehensive about having a pup selected for me but to your credit she’s exactly what I
was looking for. She gets along well with the kids and the other 2 dogs in our family. She’s as close to perfect as
perfect can get.
She’s developing into quite a beautiful dog. I’m rather pleased and impressed that she hasn’t torn up anything she’s
not supposed to, she loves to toss plastic milk jugs around the kitchen and shred them to pieces, which is the
cheapest dog toy I can think of. She’s been quite content to scoot them around the kitchen floor to keep amused
during the long winter’s months. She’s alert and watchful of strangers. With 5 different cars coming and going from our
household she’s now recognizing the sounds of each family member’s car. I can tell by her reaction who is coming up
the driveway and if she’s not familiar with the car she lets you know with her “alert bark”. She’s extremely intelligent,
easy to train and everything you said that she would be. I’m glad I waited and was able to work with a breeder to find
the right dog for me rather than having a breeder try to sell me what they had at the time. Just like you said, “good
things come to those who can wait”. From the minute she got into the car for the 8 hour ride home until now she has
been on her best behavior. She has an aura of “royalty” about her. You can sense the admiration of every person or
other dog that she comes into contact with. During trips to the vet the whole staff has to come out into the waiting room
and ogle over her. She is truly a queen…
